“DC’s beloved and award winning Chef Elias Taddesse is back in the kitchen cooking up a whole new menu at, his popular carryout in Shaw. Chef Taddesse is launching eight new dishes next week at Doro, including, by popular request, wings 3 ways. In addition to the wings, he is also introducing a vegan sandwich made with crispy enoki mushrooms.
Doro Soul Food from Michelin-starred Chef Elias Taddesse, infuses traditional American soul food with Ethiopian flavors. Doro offers Ethiopian-style fried chicken, and the chef’s unique spin on macaroni & cheese, cornbread, and collard greens, and one of DC’s favorite fried chicken sandwiches. Doro Soul Food offers takeout and delivery from Washington, DC’s historic Shaw neighborhood.
