Alamo Heights wide receiver Michael Terry III signed with the Texas Longhorns on National Signing Day
Michael Terry III is going to Texas . The Alamo Heights athlete announced his decision to sign with Texas on Wednesday morning in a ceremony at his high school gym. He chose Texas over the likes of Nebraska and Oregon , among others. According to 247Sports , Texas officially offered Terry when he visited for Junior Day back in January of this year. Terry then took an official visit to Texas in June and an unofficial one in July.
A three-sport athlete, Terry also has experience competing in track and basketball for the Mules. With Terry, Alamo Heights football went 48-5 and went undefeated in district twice. The 6-foot-3 athlete started 53 varsity football games as a Mule and has over 2,000 all-purpose offensive yards to his name. He took snaps as a wide receiver, running back, quarterback and defensive back during his time at Alamo Heights. As a junior, Terry was named District 14-5A-I Offensive MVP.
