The pressure is on Steven Naismith after a dismal display against St Mirren and Stewart has called out the Tynecastle board.
Hearts' attempts at replacing Robbie Neilson have been a 'disaster' and Michael Stewart fears history may be repeating itself.
Naismith was given the gig until the end of the season but couldn't return the side to best of the rest in the Premiership. Now they languish in sixth and Stewart has demanded more football knowledge on the board after failing to covert themsevles in glory when it's come to life after Neilson. "He left the club second in the league having gained promotion and just beaten Rangers at Tynecastle. Then he walked away in, what was in my view, a terrible decision going down to MK Dons. But there's reasons why did that; because of a section of the support that were never in favour of him and he never had the support behind the scenes that he should have had.
"In that who period has been in charge - now the club is obviously owned by the fans - Robbie Neilson has been, in my view, progressive and relatively successful. Not saying that everything has been great, but in relation to everyone else, who have been regressive.
