Two-time Oscar nominee Michael Shannon is scheduled to return to his Chicago theater home in 2024, starring in the world premiere of “Turret” at A Red Orchid Theatre from April 25 to June 15, 2024.

A new play by fellow ensemble member Levi Holloway, “Turret” is a thriller set in the Pacific Northwest, and along with Shannon will star Travis A. Knight. Holloway’s previous A Red Orchid play, “Grey House,” is scheduled to open on Broadway later this month.A Red Orchid Theatre on Monday announced its 31st season. The other two shows for 2023-24 are:From Sept. 7 to Oct.
The theater also announced new ensemble members, Esteban Andres Cruz, Sherman Edwards, John Judd and a resident stage manager Kathleen Dickinson.
