Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore says the Democrats need to choose a Democrat with progressive policies who can 'excite the base' in order to defeat incumbent President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
documentarian Michael Moore said that President Donald Trump's chances of reelection in the upcoming 2020 election were good if the Democrats cannot choose a candidate who can"excite the base.", has been critical of both the Republican party and the Trump administration.
"Hillary won by 3 million popular votes," Moore said."I believe whoever the Democrat is next year is going to win by 4 to 5 million popular votes. There's no question in my mind that people who stayed home, who sat on the bench, they're going to pour out. There's going to be a much higher percentage of people voting against him."
"What we have to do is we have to make sure that we don't give them another Hillary Clinton to vote for," Moore said.
