For his 45th anniversary, we look back at the New York designer's legacy in the pages of our magazine
This year, Michael Kors, the brand, celebrates its 45th anniversary. In his four and a half decades in business, Kors's namesake brand has become a fashion institution. Known for his clean lines and refined glamour, the designer has upheld the pillars of American sportswear, carrying them into the 21st century.
And today's Fall 2026 runway show here in New York City will toast his big anniversary. Of course, that many decades in business means he's evolved through the different generations of Bazaar, as well.
