Images shared by New York-based resale store Just Kicks show what to expect from the upcoming release. As expected, the pair is a faithful re-creation of the original 1994 version. It features a two-tone design mixing a Medium Gray suede upper with black leather and tooling. Chicago Bulls-themed red accents appear on the Jumpman branding, which shows up both on the heel embroidery and on one of the shoe’s signature elements, its outsole. Air Jordan 10 lists Jordan’s career stats up to that point as when it was designed, Jordan had retired from the NBA and pursued a career in professional baseball. He would announce his return to the league in March 1995, famously announcing his comeback with a two-word press release reading “I’m back.”10 worn by Jordan on the court featured personalized “45” embroidery, the jersey number he briefly wore upon his return to the NBA. This detail was referenced on the 2008 “Countdown Pack” reissue of the sneaker, which was the colorway’s first-ever retro, although that pair featured the number 23 instead. A 2018 reissue, as well as the upcoming November release, omit the number stitching altogether. Also of note is the lack of a toe cap overlay on the upcoming release. The detail was originally featured on early versions of Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 10 design before Jordan himself asked for it to be removed.
