Tito Jackson, brother of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, and original member of The Jackson 5 has died aged 70. Jackson reportedly passed on Monday, according to former manager and long-term family friend Steve Manning, ahead of a show that the group were scheduled to perform.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us,” the siblings said.“We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken,” their statement continued. “Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being,” the statement continued. “Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5, some may know him as ‘Coach Tito’ or some know him as ‘Poppa T.
“Nevertheless, he will be missed tremendously,” the brothers added. “It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us.’ Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is ‘Love One Another.’ We love you Pops.”13 The “Together Again” singer posted a photo of her and Tito on Instagram on Oct. 15, with the caption, “May you rest in eternal peace.
