During an appearance on the Team Deakins Podcast, Michael Connelly discussed the possibility of bringing Bosch together with The Lincoln Lawyer in live action. While the idea excites longtime readers, the author made it clear that industry realities stand in the way. Connelly joked that achieving “world peace” might happen before “Netflix and Amazon to agree to something. ” The streaming rights belong to separate platforms.
As a result, creating a crossover has become highly unlikely despite the strong connection between the characters in the books. The author explained that this challenge already affected The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1. Bosch plays an important role in the source material.

The two characters, Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller, have interacted several times in Connelly's novels, but due to their different streaming services, a crossover is unlikely to happen. Connelly has revealed that a crossover between Welliver's Bosch and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo's Haller has happened, just off-screen.
