Leeds United have moved into fifth place in the Championship table after back-to-back home wins over QPR and Bristol City and former striker Michael Bridges has given his view
Leeds United's players have gone into the international break with 'bragging rights' after picking up two straight wins. That is the view of former Whites striker Michael Bridges, who feels the Whites' promotion rivals will now be 'looking over their shoulder'.
Asked about the back-to-back wins, Bridges told the Official Leeds United Podcast: "Absolutely buzzing because there's nothing worse than going into the international break when you haven't got the points on the board. The games came thick and fast, so to get the results...and what I loved about it is with Daniel Farke, he gets it.
"He gets Elland Road, he gets the fans, he keeps saying it's our living room, our fortress, and by God does he instil that in the players. They've gone out and they're performing, just absolutely brilliant results. What that does, the players can go away with the bragging rights."
