Volvo Philippines unveils its fresh line-up of electrified and boosted Volvos. The 2022 range consisting of the entire SPA family marries aesthetic and functional upgrades headlined by the new Boost Hybrid engine range.
Previously known as the T6 engine, it’s now retitled as the B6 with the introduction of a 48-volt hybrid system that has an Integrated Starter Generator at its core. Paired with a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, it has a combined 313 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque. In terms of styling, the 2022 range of Volvos comes with top-end trims and exterior enhancements. The Volvo XC60, for example, sports a revamped grille and front bumpers plus a sportier take with its unique R-Design styling details. On the other hand, the Volvo S90 executive sedan is made even more spacious and premium as Volvo Philippines brings in the long-wheelbase variant in the Inscription package.
Volvo’s leadership in automotive safety is confirmed in the 2022 range. The SPA platform has resulted in the strongest Volvo cars to date because of the extensive use of boron steel and numerous safety systems designed to protect people inside and outside the car. Volvo’s City Safety technology, standard across the line-up, combines automatic braking functionality and collision avoidance systems to cover a range of potential accident scenarios. In addition, City Safety is the only system on the market that detects pedestrians, cyclists, and large animals.Volvo XC90 B6 Inscription Boost Hybrid – P 5,590,000
