The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) logged around 125,000 passengers per day this December - the peak season for air travel.

At Friday's public briefing, MIAA Senior Assistant General Manager Bryan Co said the airports are currently in the middle of the peak of what they anticipated for this month.

Co said most of these passengers arrived from other countries including the United States, Canada, and the Middle East. “Bale what we expect po talaga is this kind of level at around 125,000 passengers will continue until at least the end of this year and then ang mangyayari po dyan magre-reverse naman ang flow pag-January karamihan naman po ay papalabas naman ng Pilipinas dahil tapos na sila mag Pasko sa ating bansa,” he said.
