MAYNILA - Maaari nang makauwi nang libre sakay ng barko ang mga taga-Cebu City na na-stranded sa Maynila sa gitna ng pandemya.
Ito ay matapos ianunsiyo ng Department of Transportation at logistics company na 2GO na wala nang bayad ang biyahe mula Maynila papuntang Cebu para sa lahat ng residente ng lungsod hanggang Agosto 31.
Kailangan lang umanong pumunta sa mismong ticketing office ng 2GO at magdala ng medical clearance certificate mula sa city o municipal health office. Kailangan din ng travel authority mula sa Joint Task Force COVID Shield, government ID na nagpapatunay na residente ng Cebu City, at acceptance certificate mula sa uuwiang barangay sa Cebu.Kasama umano sa libreng ticket ang pagkain sa barko, beddings, terminal fee, insurance, at baggage allowance na 50 kilo.
Nagpaalala rin ang 2GO na hindi puwedeng basta-basta pumunta ng pier nang walang booking o ticket, at magdala ng face mask at shield para sa biyahe.Noong Huwebes, nasa 400 locally-stranded individual ang sumali sa Hatid Tulong program para makauwi sa Eastern Visayas, Davao region, Surigao, at Palawan.
