MAYNILA—Halos buong araw ang inabot bago nakahanap ng paghahatirang quarantine facility ang isang grupo ng OFWs na mula Dubai.
Ayon kay Lory Gonzales, alas 9:30 ng gabi nitong Biyernes lumapag ang eroplanong sinasakyan niya at 74 na iba pang OFW sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Alas-6:30 ng umaga ng Sabado lang sila pinayagan pumunta sa isang quarantine facility sa Pasig City matapos mag-proseso ng mga kaukulang dokumento.
Pero pagdating sa naturang facility sa Pasig, hinarang sila ng ilang barangay officials. Wala aniyang malinaw na dahilan kung bakit, pero kalauna'y pinapunta sila sa office ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.Ayon kay OWWA administrator Hans Cacdac, sinamahan na niya ang OFWs papunta sa isang hotel sa Novaliches kung saan sila mananatili para sa quarantine.
Aniya, nagkalituhan sa barangay sa Pasig kaya't minabuting pabalikin muna sa OWWA office ang mga OFWs habang naghahanap ng matutuluyan. — Ulat ni Arra Perez, ABS-CBN News
