Juan Ramón de la Fuente met with Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs and state legislators to discuss issues surrounding trade, tariffs, and immigration. He emphasized Mexico's commitment to its citizens and the importance of strengthening the US-Mexico trade relationship.
PHOENIX — El Canciller de México visitó Arizona para reunirse con la gobernadora del estado y los legisladores. Entre los temas que dijo haber abordado fueron los del comercio, aranceles, inmigración. Además, dijo que México está preparado para recibir a sus connacionales.
En las afueras del Capitolio de la Fuente compartió lo que había sido su itinerario del día empezando por hablar que se había reunido con el Cónsul General de México, Jorge Mendoza Yescas de quien resaltó la labor que ha realizado en su cargo.Durante la reunión con la gobernadora Hobbs dijo que hablaron sobre “diversos temas que vinculan Arizona con México”.
“Convenimos las y los legisladores y un servidor que era importante mantener la coordinación, mantener la cooperación y en la balanza estuvimos de acuerdo que son mucho más los elementos positivos los que nos arroja que aquellos en los que pudiera haber una diferencia”, aseguró de la Fuente.
