Mexican authorities have raided a massive complex of stores selling counterfeit Chinese and other Asian goods in downtown Mexico City , seizing around 90,000 counterfeit products that masqueraded as name-brand goods. The raid took place at a building known as “ Mexico Mart ” and involved over 200 police, marines, and inspectors. The entire operation lasted seven hours. Authorities vowed to expand the crackdown nationwide, targeting seaports and airports as well.
