Mets rookie Christian Scott has had middling results so far and has been worse away from Citi Field. This bodes poorly for the righty opposite Pirates' Mitch Keller. Expect Pittsburgh's offense, particularly Bryan Reynolds, to play a role today.
Scott’s strikeout numbers are pedestrian, he’s given up four homers in his first 33 1/3 innings of work, and his control has been average. In his last start, he allowed four runs on six hits over 5 2/3 innings of work against the Washington Nationals, a team with similar offensive punch to the Pirates.
