In 14 starts, the right-hander has gone 4-2 with a 3.52 ERA, and has been the Mets' best and most consistent starter all year long.The Yankees initially signed Severino out of the Dominican Republic in 2011. He debuted in 2015, and made back-to-back All-Star appearances in 2017 and 2018. Severino was a reliable starter in New York until 2023, when he endured the worst season of his career with a 6.65 ERA in 89.1 innings.
