The New York Mets along with Lyft and Citi unveiled new CitiBike docking stations at Citi Field on Thursday, just one week before Opening Day and the start of the 2024 season.

Over 60 docking stations and upward of 100 bicycles will be in circulation at the ballpark, offering fans around Queens and New York City an alternative transportation opportunity “This is a home run that we’re giving to the City of New York and the great baseball places,” NYCDOT Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez said.

The 66 stations will be placed at two different locations on the Citi Field grounds — one just beyond the main entrance at the Jackie Robinson Rotunda, the other beyond the left-field fence.— who has partnered with Citi — will have drivers on-site to pick up extra two-wheelers that cannot fit in the docking stations.Joe Pantorno
