For instance, Manila and Quezon City cater to shoppers from neighboring cities and their market rules cannot apply to Paranaque, where 95 percent of shoppers are residents of the city, he told DZMM. In Parañaque, all markets are closed on Wednesdays for decontamination and only senior citizens, persons with disability and pregnant women can shop on Sundays.
