The video racked up over 5 million views and 16,000 likes from X users, who likened the storm shutters to something out of horror movie 'The Purge.' 'Purge doors, I didn’t have that on my 2024 bingo card,' wrote one user. Castillo has never seen 'The Purge,' he said in a social media update. He also assured concerned viewers that the shutters can be opened manually in the case of a power outage and that he still has access to the back door of the house.
