With clear skies, sky gazers may be able to catch sight of shooting stars starting before midnight on July 29, Wednesday, until the dawn of July 30, Thursday.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration , the Southern Delta Aquarids meteor shower will be observed from July 28 to 31 but it is estimated to peak between July 29 and July 30.
PAGASA said the LPA east of Mindanao has already fizzled out on Thursday afternoon but the ITCZ may still bring scattered light to moderate rain showers with at times heavy rains during thunderstorms over Palawan, and most of Visayas and Mindanao. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy and may also experience isolated rain showers due to the ITCZ or local thunderstorms.
