The festival has now announced that a Slipknot cover band will be its headliner.
The Shell Shock II festival has lost several acts since announcing Kyle Rittenhouse as a guest. If you were planning to go to the Shell Shock II music festival in Orlando and you like Kyle Rittenhouse … well, you are in luck.
But if you were hoping to see a handful of the bands — including the headliner, Evergreen Terrace — there, well … they apparently don’t want to be on the same card as Kyle Rittenhouse. You read that right, the festival is now, apparently, down to a cover band as its headliner after announcing that Rittenhouse would attend.
“Evergreen Terrace has always supported and continues to support philanthropic events for veterans, PTSD awareness, child poverty, and many more, but we will not align with an even promoting murderers such as Kyle Rittenhouse capitalizing off of their pseudo celebrity. Unfortunately, we did not do our due diligence with this particular event. Even after they offered to pull Kyle from the event, we discovered several associated entities that we simply do not agree with.
Rittenhouse, who shot three people, killing two, during a racial injustice protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020, claimed self-defense and was acquitted of all charges. All three of those bands issued statements that said in part that they did not wish to be involved in politics.“But we are prepping. The liberal mob attempted to destroy Shell Shock. But we will not allow it. This is now about more than a concert. This is a war of ideology.
