The Met Office has put a yellow warning for thunderstorms in place of a large part of the North of England, including Leeds.
A yellow warning means the weather is likely to cause "low level impacts" with some disruption to travel. This means it is important to take the storm into account if you plan to travel anywhere today.However, yellow warnings are also issued if the weather could cause severe disruption if the likelihood of the disruptions is lower.
"Spray and sudden flooding are likely to lead to difficult driving conditions and some temporary road closures.
