It's set to be largely dry and warm in Greater Manchester this weekend after a thunderstorm warning was issued by the Met Office.
In our region, temperatures will climb to around 25C this afternoon. Sunny and cloudy spells are expected for much of the day.Some rain showers may fall at around 7pm, with a few downpours predicted through the night into the early hours. But brighter conditions are then forecast again for Saturday.
