Fresh weather warnings issued for snow and rain across the UK, lasting until mid-afternoon on Thursday
'Persistent' and heavy rain will hit parts of the UK on Thursday.A separate yellow weather warning for rain will cover the entirety of Northern Ireland from 2pm on Wednesday to 10am on Thursday.
The Met Office's chief forecaster Dan Suri said an area of low pressure has been bringing mild and blustery weather for England, with rain on the way.
