Snowfall is expected in some areas of the UK The UK will see both freezing and mild temperatures, the Met Office forecast shows. Rainfall will continue to hit parts of the country, with wintry shows moving across the north on Sunday. But the weather will remain milder in the south of England, with some places in the south experiencing higher than average temperatures. St James Park in London crossed 18C on Thursday.
But despite the warming temperatures, southern regions will see some heavy rainfall. Alex Deakin, meteorologist at the Met Office, said: ‘There will be some pretty hefty showers around on Friday, another pretty mild one across the south, never a dry picture when low pressure is dominating, sitting right across the UK.
