The temperature will be rising soon say the Met Office🙏☀️

A spokesperson told Belfast Live that temperatures will peak on Sunday, July 17 and Monday, July 18. It's likely some areas will reach the high 20Cs.

The forecaster said: "Over this weekend temperatures in Northern Ireland will reach the mid-20s Celsius widely, during the peak heat on Sunday and Monday the high 20s Celsius are likely for some areas in the longest lived sunshine. From Tuesday temperatures are currently expected to come down closer to average."It comes as an Amber Extreme heat warning was extended as temperatures look to build later this week and early next week for much of England and Wales.

And for Wednesday in NI, July 13, the Met Office said: "A few bright spells but often cloudy with scattered showers, these mainly across northern and western areas. Feeing rather warm with light westerly winds. Maximum temperature 20C.
