A Mercedes was seized in the west end over the weekend after being stopped for the fourth time with 'no insurance'.
Police stopped the 22-year-old driver to find that there was no insurance on the white Mercedes. The vehicle was taken from the young driver, who has since been reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "This Mercedes was stopped at the weekend in Glasgow West end by officers from #GGDVRU.READ MORE: Glasgow Barlinnie prisoner death fatal accident inquiry to take place
"This is the 4th occasion that the vehicle has been stopped recently, and again, the driver was found not to have an insurance policy in place. The driver this time, a 22 year old man, has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and the car has been seized by police."
