Stein sentenced New Jersey real estate tycoon Fred Daibes to seven years in prison and fined him $1.75 million Wednesday morning, according to Nicholas Biase, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's office. New Jersey businessman Wael Hana, who was also convicted in the scheme, was sentenced to 97 months in prison and was also ordered to pay a $1.25 million fine and forfeit $125,000, Biase said.
