Rochester, N.Y. — The Memorial Art Gallery celebrated Asian Pacific American cultures Sunday afternoon.
The Memorial Art Gallery 's celebration of Asian Pacific American culture at the Memorial Art Gallery , Sunday, May 19, 2024, served as a closing ceremony for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
“It’s important because we want to have an inclusive, diverse community where everybody is recognized and has their place in the community,” said Vikram Dogra, the director of the“Being part of the community is really great,” said Wenli, of Rochester. “It was really fun and exciting, and I really love performing for people.”
