Melt Bar and Grilled in Lakewood, Ohio, will permanently close its doors after a series of financial challenges and health issues faced by the owner's family. To celebrate its legacy, the restaurant will host a garage sale/memorial event from January 17th to 19th, offering customers a chance to purchase memorabilia and enjoy final drinks.
Melt Bar and Grilled will host a garage sale /memorial celebration at its Lakewood location this month after announcing its permanent closure. The news came after Fish closed several other Melt locations for financial reasons, and his family received challenging health news at the end of 2024. While Melt closed for dining service immediately last week, the restaurant has one final celebration planned for folks looking to own a piece of the legendary Cleveland culinary institution.
Fish will host a garage sale/memorial for Melt in Lakewood from noon to 6 p.m. on Jan. 17-19. During the final weekend, customers will be able to purchase decorative items, apparel, merch and more. The bar will be open for beer and cocktails to cheer to Melt one last time. In the comment section, the brand clarified that folks with unused gift cards will be able to utilize them for drinks at the bar
