The South Australian court is pursuing multiple counts against Portelli's company, LMCT+, and Xclusive Tech Pty Ltd for alleged lottery operations between 2023 and 2024.

Mr Portelli's company, LMCT+, describes itself as a "shopping tool and rewards club", offering shopping discounts for a monthly fee.As part of the fee, members are also allegedly granted entry into monthly draws where cash and prizes can be won. Both Mr Portelli and his company, Xclusive Tech Pty Ltd, face 19 charges of person conducting/assist in the conduct of an unlawful lottery.
