The “Working Girl” star has been open about getting dermabrasion – a laser treatment which can cause bruising – amid her battle with skin cancer.
Melanie Griffith was photographed with bruising on her hand and cheek while leaving the dermatologist on Thursday — over a decade after first opening up about her battle with skin cancer.
The Hollywood icon’s left hand and knuckles were noticeably dark purple while a small section near her ear also seemed to be discolored.Despite the bruising, the makeup-free movie star, 65, looked chic in a brown leather jacket, tan sweater and white slacks. She complimented the look with orange cat-eye sunglasses and Gucci sneakers.The 65-year-old rocked a leather jacket, sweater and slacks while out in Los Angeles.
A closer look showed that a small part of the laceration, which appeared to be sewn with stitches, remained open and healing.While the reason for Griffith’s scar was unknown, the actress previously spoke out about how the diagnosis has impacted her career.
