While largely preferring to stay out of the limelight, Melania Trump has been more public about her support for her husband ahead of the November election. The former first lady has made similar comments about threats against her husband in other interviews around her book, such as during an“I saw how they treated him, how the media was against him,” she said after host Sean Hannity recalled how she predicted how her husband would be treated. “I think they are afraid of his strength, and he was leading this country with peace through strength. So as soon he announced that he’s running for the presidency, everything really changed.
