Melaka tak benar hotel jadi pusat kuarantin Covid-19

Melaka tidak membenarkan hotel dijadikan pusat kuarantin Covid-19 kerana ia boleh menjejaskan sektor pelancongan negeri. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 22 Julai, 2020.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kesihatan dan Antidadah Negeri, Rahmad Mariman, berkata kerajaan negeri kini bersiap sedia untuk membuka semula operasi dua pusat kuarantin berikutan pengumuman kerajaan yang tidak membenarkan mana-mana individu pulang dari luar negara kuarantin di rumah bermula Jumaat ini. “Pusat kuarantin di CREaTE mampu menampung kira-kira 400 katil, manakala Akademi Latihan JPJ mampu menyediakan 200 katil dan kerajaan negeri akan menetapkan salah satu dari pusat ini untuk dibuka semula sebagai persediaan menangani masalah ini.

Terdahulu, dalam persidangan itu semasa menjawab soalan lisan Tey Kok Kiew tentang jumlah bantuan disalurkan kerajaan negeri bagi membantu rakyat terjejas Covid-19, Rahmad berkata RM28.2 juta diperuntukkan melalui 28 inisiatif kerajaan negeri telah disalurkan sejak Mac lepas.
