MELAKA, March 9 — The state government has hinted at good news for 1,465 Al-Quran and Fardu Ain class teachers, with discussion on increasing their allowance now in the final stage.

“I am not promising when but what is for sure is that soon this year as many aspects have to be looked into because it involves financial matters and a relatively big budget. He also said that the UPKK results this time showed a dip due to weaknesses in the home-based teaching and learning sessions during the movement control order period, adding that this was something they had expected and he was confident they would be able to obtain better results this year.
