Kelly opined on the 22-foot-tall bronze statue sculpted by Hank Willis Thomas, which was unveiled on Friday in Boston Common.

and his wife, Coretta Scott King, in Boston, saying: “It looks like a giant penis.”

The monument, which depicts four intertwined arms, was inspired by a famous photograph of King and his wife embracing when he learned he had won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. Another angle of the statue makes it appear as if it is depicting a sexual act. Critics of the piece say that not including the couple’s heads in the statue made it open to interpretation.

“What it looks like, I’m just going to say it, a giant penis…I’m sorry, it does!” Kelly told her guests, National Review editor-in-chief Rich Lowry, and National Review Online writer Charles C.W. Cooke.
