Kelly expressed her disappointment on her show, The Megyn Kelly Show, saying that the show is 'quite possibly the actual worst product to hit television over the past five years'.
Megyn Kelly has sharply criticized Meghan Markle's show on Netflix, With Love, Meghan. The lifestyle show hosted by the Duchess of Sussex was nominated for the Emmy award for Outstanding Lifestyle Series on Tuesday, July 14.
The following day, Kelly ripped into the decision, calling Markle's show hideous. On the Wednesday, July 15, episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, she said, It's amazing to me. Quite possibly the actual worst product to hit television over the past five years, and now she has managed to get an Emmy. Kelly slammed With Love, Meghan, saying, I forgot just how cringy it was.
Here's just a reminder of some of how that program looked. She proceeded to show a clip from the show where Markle says, I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it. Mocking Markle's words, Kelly said, Elevate. We have to elevate everything.
You can elevate your peanuts and your pretzels by taking them from the store-bought bag and transferring them into a cellophane bag. That's an elevation. Kelly added, This is one of the most glamorous moments of my life. Sure, that's how my friends talk to me, too, when they come over.
They're always telling me how glamorous everything is when they're hanging out with me. The journalist and television host continued her jab at Markle, saying, No, I just want to incorporate these tricks into your everyday life as she prances around in a beekeeper's outfit. Clearly, she's got enough juice left in the can to get an Emmy nomination out of this, which is meaningless, but right on brand for her.
With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix on March 4, 2025, with the second season arriving five months later. Netflix canceled the show after two seasons.
