, the couple’s schedule is overflowing with speeches, audiences, ambassadorial receptions and visits related to causes close to their hearts, including a solo visit in Cape Town on Wednesday by Meghan to Mothers2Mothers, an organization helping parents living with HIV.and Archie will spend the duration of the trip in South Africa, Harry will leave his family to tour Angola, Malawi and Botswana. Harry also spoke about gender-based violence, quoting President Ramaphosa: “No man is born to cause harm to women. This is learned behavior and a cycle that needs to be broken.” A former inner-city residential area in the port city of Cape Town, District Six was for more than 100 years home to freed slaves, artisans, immigrants, merchants and the Cape Malay community. The different communities and races lived side by side, and the District became known for its vibrant culture, music and food until 1966, when the government declared it an exclusive area for white people, with more than 60,000 people forced to leave.
