The Duchess reveals the exact shades used on the big day
This might not seem like a big deal, but you’ll rarely see a British royal wearing a bold shade of nail polish as a neutral-toned manicure is one of the many royal protocols senior members of the family, like Kate and the Queen, adhere to.
The shades Meghan opted for were not in keeping with royal tradition and instead resulted in a milky, pinky colour. The opaque finish is a very different look to the usual sheer polishes favoured by the Queen – who is believed to be a fan of Essie’s Ballet Slippers, and other royal brides.
