"I wouldn't be able to feel proud of myself as a mom if I didn't know that I wasn't doing my part to make it a better place for him.""It's interesting, because my gut is that [motherhood] makes you more courageous," Meghan said when asked how motherhood has affected her leadership role as a public figure.
To that effect, the Duchess of Sussex also explained that she's cautious of putting her family at risk by being selective about the topics she chooses to discuss publicly, but adds that topics like exercising your right to vote are too important to ignore.
