The couple released a statement sharing their plans to build the Archewell nonprofit organization.
Within a week of officially stepping back as senior royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a major announcement and revealed their brand-new foundation.
This would be to replace their Sussex Royal brand, having been told by the queen not to use the word “royal.” “Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right.”
Harry and Meghan officially bid farewell to royal life on March 31 with a final post on their Sussex Royal Instagram page.
