Meghan and Harry have begun their farewell tour of final royal engagements
... [+]: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended an awards ceremony in London on Thursday for their first official engagement since announcing they would step back as senior royals, marking the beginning of the end of their roles as we know it.
Harry and Meghan stepped out at the Endeavour Fund awards celebrating the sporting achievements of injured ex-service personnel, in London’s financial district on Thursday. Both were pictured earlier on Thursday emerging from London’s Goring Hotel, where they reportedly had a private lunch. Their last engagement before today was on January 7, 2020, just before they announced they were stepping back as senior royals following months of internal discussions.: Their final appearance as working royals will be on March 9, 2020, when they join other senior royals for the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.
