A new music battle series, 'KPopped,' is coming to Apple TV+ starring Megan Thee Stallion and PSY. The show will feature Western and K-pop stars competing against each other in musical showdowns.
Megan Thee Stallion and PSY will team up for a new music battle series, KPopped, coming soon to Apple TV+. The show, produced by CJENM and Eureka Productions, will feature eight episodes pitting Western and K-pop stars against each other in musical showdowns. Each episode will see Western icons reinterpreting one of their biggest hits in collaboration with top-tier K-pop idols, culminating in a spectacular battle performance in front of a live Seoul-based audience.
Viewers will then decide the winner of the best new 'K-popped' song. Megan Thee Stallion will not only be starring in the series but will also serve as an executive producer. The press release states that Stallion will perform her hit song, 'Savage,' on the show. KPopped is being executive produced by a star-studded team including Moira Ross, Lionel Richie, Miky Lee, Greg Foster, Harry H.K. Shin, Jake Hong, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, and David Tibballs. Kiwoong Kim will serve as the producer for CJ ENM Co., Ltd.While no further details regarding the lineup of artists competing on KPopped have been revealed, the series is still in its early development stages with no confirmed release date. The anticipation surrounding the show, however, is already high, with fans eager to see the unique musical collaborations and intense battles that are sure to unfold
