This is not the first time that Fox has had to defend herself against mom shamers. During a 2021 interview with“Do you ask their dad when he’s out?” Fox stated in the interview. “No, because you don’t expect a dad to be with the kids all the time, but I’m supposed to not be seen and be at home with my kids. They have another parent. I have to leave and sometimes I don’t want them photographed and they don’t come with me.
“I get in the bath and cry a lot about it because it is hard and not because of pressures that anybody else or society puts on you, but it is just hard being separated from them in that way,” she added. “They are my DNA.” Though she tries not to let the haters get her down, she still has mom guilt and questions if she’s doing enough to be a “good mom” especially when she’s only with her kids half the time.
