Francis Ford Coppola’s forthcoming film “Megalopolis” held its New York City premiere on Sept. 23. Members from the cast and creative team behind the film attended the red carpet event, styling various looks for the premiere.

Aubrey Plaza continued her black lace streak by wearing an ornately designed look complete with a hat and birdcage element. Nathalie Emmanuel opted for a strapless blood red dress and Chloe Fineman of “Saturday Night Live” fame chose a gold minidress, which she coordinated with her pointed toe heels.

“Megalopolis” follows the conflict between Cesar Catilina and mayor Franklyn Cicero in the futuristic city of New Rome. Cesar, an artist, hopes for a more utopian future, putting Franklyn’s daughter Julia between the two men.
