Wegovy maker Novo Nordisk said its product could receive expanded approval rom the U.S. Food and Drug Administration within six months,The company has received a priority review from the FDA for the use of Wegovy as a treatment for reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. If approved, the change could expand prospects for insurance coverage for the drug, which has, so far, been approved only for weight loss.
