Reagan High School graduate will find out Sunday if his dream run continues and he makes the Top 20.
“It was a very long schedule. Very intense,” Wayne said in a telephone interview about his mission in Nauvoo, Illinois, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “But it was probably the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.”
Wayne, who is establishing an identity for himself with tender vocals and a positive personality, said he’s gotten helpful advice from judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
