Meet Mfundo Vilakazi, SA football's most famous teenage footballer
The Kaizer Chiefs teenager, Mfundo Vilakazi, received loud applauses from Amakhosi supporters when he made his first team debut on 25 February at FNB Stadium. Mfundo Vilakazi's first team debut for Kaizer Chiefs earlier this year was one of the most eagerly anticipated events in South African football this year, but the teenager from Snake Park in Soweto is in no rush to realise his dream.
That's because the 18-year-old is still scarred by how quickly his dreams turned into a nightmare when he joined Bidvest Wits' juniors in 2020.
